Some of you may know that I'm a bit in love with learning languages, so one of the most exciting things to me about this trip is that..it's the perfect excuse to learn..yes thats right..Icelandic! haha. So I thought while I'm learning (off youtube haha), some of you can learn a few things too. It's a lot like German (well I guess I wouldn't know..because I don't speak German.. but thats what the internet told me! haha..) So I'll just put the basics here, and I'll first put the English word..then the Icelandic word..and then in brackets how the heck you pronounce that sucker! Yes? ok..

"Hi, my names Miranda, and on behalf of expert village, we're now going to learn to speak Icelandic!" ( or so would say my youtube icelandic teacher haha)
